After we left Nice we headed straight for London, where my folks had rented an apartment two streets down from Lloyd's & my place. The 'Coach House on Altenburg gardens was a perfect, quiet apartment situated in between the Common and some cute shops & restaurants on Battersea Rise.
Jamie entertained Mom & Dad when I was at work and some of their trips included tea at Harrods and a trip up to Watford to see Sharon & Andrew.

The Globe Theatre is right across from St. Paul's cathedral so we had some great views right across the Thames.

One of the days we went to Churchill's Cabinet War Rooms, which was really informative & interesting. Located near Westminster, we got to walk past Big Ben & Westminster Abbey.

Another day Mom, Dad and I walked through the common to one of my favorite beer gardens, the Windill Pub.
Mom took this picture for Grandpa - A little seating area made from an old trunk! So cute.
One Sunday during their visit we went to Richmond for a 'proper' British Sunday Roast at a pub overlooking the Thames (and to celebrate Barry's birthday!). The food was delicious and we walked down to the river when we were finished eating.

When we neared the White Cross Pub we realised we were there in time for high tide! Luckily we could walk around the water so we weren't deterred from our drink spot.

We had such a great time with Mom and Dad but it was so hard saying goodbye. Looking forward to seeing them again soon!!
