In April my Texas roommate Chelsea and her boyfriend Chris (also known as Wheel) came to London for a visit! Chels and I go wayyy back and were softball teammates and partners in crime for many fun filled years. Their visit was jam packed with sightseeing and fun events...
One of the first nights they were here we went to a fancy dinner in East London near St. Paul's; it was still chilly outside and we wished it was a bit warmer so we could enjoy the pretty green covered patio with fantastic views of the Shard, London's tallest skyscraper.

On one of the sightseeing days we walked around Central London and happened to walk through part of the London Marathon route that was occurring the next day. All of the Union Jack flags were up and the city looked so festive!

On the last Sunday they were in town we decided to take Chels & Wheel to Richmond for a 'proper' Sunday Roast at our favorite pub on the hill overlooking the Thames. Views from the hill are just gorgeous and it was a fun walk through the park on a cool day.

On the last night that Wheel & Chels were in town we went to dinner and then went to see Singin' in the Rain in the West End. On the way back home we stopped at Trafalgar Square and it was a beautiful, clear night and we had some amazing views of the moon over the city.
When we were walking through the square Wheel surprised us all with a proposal to Chelsea, and since I rarely am without my camera, was able to catch the whole thing! She was super excited and afterwards Wheel treated us all to expensive drinks at a fancy rooftop hotel overlooking the square :).
